1. At present, lead-acid batteries are mainly used, and a small amount of lithium batteries are used. The main reason is the price problem. The cheaper ternary polymer lithium battery is cheap, but the life is too short. Generally, it will not work for a year or so. Safety is also a problem;


2. The specifications of the battery are generally divided into voltage and capacity, which can be combined by themselves.

The standard voltage is divided into 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V, 72V (in 12V increments), 24V and 36V are generally used for electric bicycles. There is no universal charger above 72V, which is generally used by enthusiasts.

The capacity is generally divided into 5AH, 10AH, 12AH, 15AH, 20AH, 22AH, 30AH, 40AH, etc. The battery above 40AH is too heavy, and is generally only used by tricycles.

3. Motor specifications: Motors are generally divided by power, 280W, 350W, 500W, 800W, 1000W, 1200W, 1500W, 2000W. Most people use up to 800W, and those above 1000W are used by enthusiasts.

The higher the motor power, the faster the speed. It seems to have nothing to do with the voltage, but the high-power motor will not be low in order to reduce the operating current.

According to the structure, the motor can be divided into brushed and brushless, with gears and no gears. There are four kinds of combinations: brushed and toothed, brushless, toothless, brushless and toothless. The brush motor has a simple structure, but requires a brush to change direction, so the life is limited by the brush, and the power cannot be too large; the brushless motor is currently the mainstream, has a long life and high efficiency. The main difference between a geared motor and a gearless motor is that the geared motor can have a relatively large torque, but the current is small (by gear shifting), so that the motor is very energy efficient at the start and the battery life is extended. It is better not to start the gearless motor, so the battery current is large, the battery is not good, and the climbing ability is not as good as the toothed motor.
